Hi:

I have a Web site that has a image gallery (Zenith Picture Gallery: http://cyberiapc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8286) with 14,000 uploaded photos and 32,000 commentaries, and would interest to me to import all the information kept in my databases to Coppermine.

It's this possible?.

Greetings and I wait for its answer!

Afaik there is no importer available for Zenith. Of course it would be possible to come up with such a script, but I'm afraid you'd have to write it yourself. You'd have to get familiar with the database structure of both apps and find the correlating database fields. We would appreciate it if you would share this custom mod if you decide to write it.

Another option would be to drop the comments and just integrate the pics and nothing else. You would simply have to copy the path where Zenith stores the images and use the CPGMassImport-plugin to create the albums for you (based on folder names) and populate them with your pics. You would of course then have to create a category structure and adjust the album names, so there would be a lot of manual work left. Anyway, this option would be easier for non-coders.
