my service provider will be switching entirely to php5 within the next year. As php is completely foreign to me, will I see any issues come up with 1.4.x? Will I need to do anything to ensure compatibility when the provider completely stops supporting php4? Currently the system is on a 4.4 but I've been notified they will begin testing and integration for php5 in the next few months. I just need to make sure all my sql/php applications will transfer without a hitch and minimal effort on my part.
