Custom fields for image description (leave blank if unused), not showing?

Help! I've been looking and searching in this forum for an answer and can't seem to find it.

In the gallery config, the 'Custom fields for image description (leave blank if unused) ' has 4 fields you can name, and it says if you don't name them, they won't show up. Well, I've named a couple of them, and they're still not showing up. They allow you to enter information when uploading an image, but when you go in and look at the image, the fields aren't there.

Any help?

That will take you to the main gallery, and if you click on any one of the thumbnails, when the next view comes up, there aren't any fields other than the main 'file name' and 'file description' listed there.

I added other fields, but they're not showing up.

The extra fields appear in the 'file information' section. You have this set to be hidden by default, so you have to click the (i) button above the pic to see it.
