Help: Flooded, want to remove ALL comments

I update my photo album every now and then, and I dont recall the last time I checked the photos, my mistake, just today and after months I noticed the comment system was flooded with spam.

After blocking access to invited users to post, and limiting the comment lenght, I started deleting comments by the 100s but its an endless task, next step was to modify reviewcom.php to erase 999 at a time, but it also seems to never end.

My question is, is there a way to delete all the comments at once? Im using v1.4.4

First update your gallery. Then empty (not drop) the comments table using phpmyadmin.

Now, is there a way to block comments from guests or only allow comments by registered users?

Yes, set the permissions you want on the groups page.
