Impossible to move hmc_s1_16.jpg to albums/userpics/10001/ !

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 800 is not allowed to access /home/*****/public_html/photos/albums/userpics/10001 owned by uid 99 in /home/****/public_html/photos/db_input.php on line 258

What does this mean? I haven't done anything that I'm aware of and i dont want to "move" any pictures into userpics i want to upload into an album. Any one with help?

Casper

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

permissions (CHMOD) set according to documentation?
Link plus test user account (with upload permissions)?

this is strange. Did you enable SILLY_SAFE_MODE, as casper suggested, and did your CHMOD once again?

I'm pretty sure I did I followed the instructions for SSM and I double checked my CHmod

Joachim Müller

hm, little we can do about this then. I suggest you contact your webhost for support.

I just got this same 'impossible' error a few minutes ago. I almost had a panic attack until I realized that the file I was trying to upload was larger than what I had specified in the Config. After I resized it in Photoshop, it went in without any trouble. I didn't have debug running, so forgive me if I'm totally off-topic here    since I'm not sure if the SAFE MODE error happened up or not.

If it's still an issue for soughtmagic, I can turn debug back on and try it again?
