Hi

I'm in the process of changing my site to use coppermine 4.1.12 and SMF. The bridge is in place and works great but now none of the disk quota limits I've set for the groups are being stuck to. I'm trying it with both the admin and a test member account setting all the limits to just 100Kb. Was stopped from uploading a file that was larger than the maximum file size which is set (512Kb) but was able to upload a 400Kb file no problem on both accounts. Both uploads were into personal galleries.

Also is there anyway to see just how much of a members quota has been used while the bridge is in place? I know from previous coppermine usage that accessing the user tab would give me this info but with the bridge there it just shows the SMF user list which soesn't have any quotes or usage.

I'm begining to think that if I want to use Coppermine and stick to the disc quotas then I can't set up a bridge for single registration and logins.

Disk quota only applies to uploads to personal galleries, but not to uploads made to public galleries. I guess you allow your users to upload to public (admin-created) albums, hence the quota doesn't stick. For details, post details (there is a reason why we have a sticky thread on this sub-board that is named "When requesting bridge support - mandatory!")

No public albums set up on the gallery and the users are set up so that only admin can create one or post to one. If members want to upload images then they have to create a personal gallery

Actually, not sure how but now seems to be correct.

For info I disabled the bridge and then re-enabled it. Made a couple of config changes and then reset the bridge again. Now the quota works. Would maybe be nice for the "over your quota" message to appear before someone puts in all the image details but hey, it works that's the main thing at the minute.
