Hi,

I installed CPG on my website recently, it was working perfectly, all upload methods worked. But from one day to the other I can't login to the XP Publishing Assistant. When I try to upload pictures, and enter my user and password I always come back to the login without any error message.
So I checked "keep logged in" in iexplorer, logged in and tried the xp publishing assistant again. This time I was able to type in a name for my gallery and select the category. But after hitting "next" the gallery reported "Your new gallery " " was successfully created." when i hit "next" again, to resume the assistant starts to upload the first picture, but exits with a server error. When I change to the web interface of CPG  a gallery named " " was created, but the only thing I can do with it, is deleting.

As I said, uploading via HTTP is working, my Login is correct and the selected Picture Size fits, too.

I hope you can help me, as proposed in the CPG documentation, I've created a user named "test" (his password is "test", too) - the adress of my gallery is http://www.papamatzwi.de.vu

Thanks a lot in advance,

Ramoel

OK, sorry I solved the problem myself. Somehow it only works if I type in the entire path to my site, not just the abbreviation my hoster suggests (pmz.pm.ohost.de instead of pmz.ohost.de)

Thanks a lot.

Just to clarify - I had this exact same problem, and I also had to enter the full URL of my site, but from the original response I initially thought I had to do so in the registry keys related to the xp_publish program, but this did not help.

Instead, I had to enter my fully-resolved URL in the "Config -> General Settings -> URL of your coppermine gallery folder" field, then it started working just fine :)

Now this thing works GREAT and I don't have to explain how to use FTP / Batch-Add.  It will be bad enough having to explain how to use xp_publish :D
