I have set up a directory tree on my website and i have moved this to the albums folder of coppermine for easy insertion into the coppermine program. In this way I have my files already to hand.

I am about halfway through installing my files into Coppermine and i noticed that the default video size although not critical is set at 0 x 0. I woulkd like to change this. I always change my videos to fit in a 352 x 288 wmv format at 700Kb/s.
Rather than change the settings for each and every video file I would like to know where is the default setting so that i can change it from 0 x 0 to read 352 x 288 on each new video file.
Is this possible?

Sami

Where did you see default size (0 x 0) for video files  !?

Thank you for your response.

open coppermine in admin mode.
go to Home or Album list
click on a category that contains a video file
(http://D:%5CMy%20Pictures%5Ccoppermine1.JPG)
select edit files from the options (Delete / Properties / Edit files)(this is also the page to reset the counter and reset the votes)
if your category contains any video files the picture size will be shown as 0 x 0 .

JPG pictures size will be shown as per config file.

AFAIK it doesn't have any effect on your video files, but if you want correct width and height then you need to set it either on upload process (gallery can't recognize video dimension due to lack of php [video] library ) or by editing the file

thank you Sami for your assurance that is doesn't matter - I have noticed that the default screen size is slightly out but I can live with that.

I called it a tweek - perhaps i could have said a "hack".
Somehow - somewhere Coppermine is getting the information to display 0 x 0. I was wondering where that might be and if i were to change it to my specifiacation would I get the result I was expecting, thats all.

It depends on your upload method , on http upload you'll get two input box for height and width on selecting album page but if you batch add video files then the only way to put the height and width is editing the files
