I have created two accounts and both are able to upload using http links but none can upload from local system. I have tried 2 different systems I am 95% sure I have the permissions correct. I RTFM and still cannot figure it out.
Website is http://www.fwhsdesigns.com/commpermine/ user name for testing is test and password is test. If someone could help out would be appreciated. This site for 3d art and does have some frontal nudity

You're not supposewd to enable notices_display, nor are you supposed to post it. Re-read the upload troubleshooting section and the next section that is named "Asking for support on upload issues". I have nothing else to advice, nor am I willing to go through the effort to quote that little section of the docs to you just because you're tool lazy to read.

I am sorry, but I did read your little manual and I did try everything that was suggested and still no one can upload. I have read allot of your replies and I fell that the lazy one is you. I am a member of allot of forums and I find your kind of help, well lacking any help!
I have decided to go with a different gallery because of this and will be telling everyone that I know not to use coppermine.

OK, farewell. Remember to tell all those people to visit this thread, so that they can make up their minds by themselves. *sigh*

However, for the benefit of others with similar issues: fwhsdesigns failed to do as suggested - he did not read the "asking for support" section or didn't heed the advice given there. Even though I promised not to quote it again, it seems that I have to do it yet another time. OK, here we go:
QuoteAsking for support on upload issues

When asking for support on the coppermine forum, post a link to your site and a test user account (the test user mustn't be in the admin group!) with upload privileges, with the above mentioned settings in place - this way, supporters can see the error messages as well. Do not post debug_output unless requested. If you want fast results, you should disable admin approval for the group the test user is in, so supporters can tell instantly what is wrong without needing to double-check.

When people have issues with uploading and decide to post their question on the Coppermine support board, they usually are told to read this upload troubleshooting section. Many of them fail to do so properly, which results in frustration both for users as well as supporters. To make this absolutely clear: the above mentioned steps are absolutely mandatory, no matter what skill level you have, no matter what upload method you have troubles with. Failing to do exactly as suggested will result in your request for help being ignored. Yes, this applies to you. We mean it!
It's a very short section in my opinion, so we can expect that users read it , at least after having been told to do so. I highlighted the important bit in above quote - the stuff that fwhsdesigns so blatantly failed to read.
Marking thread as "closed".
