When I'm not logged in (aka unregistered), if I click on either the Category name "Private Photos" the link sends me to an empty page. The albums in this category have permissions limited to a specific registered user group.

Is it possible to have that link prompt the Login screen if the user isn't logged in?

Also is it possible to have a custom notice for someone who is logged in but is not in the permitted user group?

Thanks!

Thanks, I think I do have those on, unless I typed something wrong here:
breadcrumb/catlist/alblist

I think it's showing nothing simply because all the albums in the category are hidden from un-logged viewers.
Maybe this belongs in "feature requests".

BTW, cpg is great software, really enjoying it as I'm learning how to use it. My thanks to you and the other devs.

Browsing through the demo themes, I found more examples.

Clicking on the Category: Password Protection shows a page with empty fields. I'd rather it report a message to the user saying "This category contains no public albums" or something similar.

Clicking on a link to an Album in the Category sends me to the Password page for the album. That's good.

However when there's no album password, like when I set "Album can be viewed by" to a specific user group, then I get that same type of page saying "No image to display". Here's an example on my site.

Is there a way I could fix the Category and Album links, so they present a custom message like "Sorry, you must be registered to access this album/category", or better yet prompt the Login screen?

Turn "Show private album Icon to unlogged user" on in Coppermine's config.
