Hi All

First of I would like to apologise to the site admins as I would have perfered to have put this topic under General Discussion but I cant start a new thread, it is a support question but non-technical I'm afraid.

Anyway, I'm running coppermine on http://art.concepts.org.uk which is providing free registration and free gallery space (100Mb each) to artists as part of  our Social Objectives for my voluntary group (Concepts). Currently we have only 18 users showcasing 306 works of art.

I'm finding it hard to get people to register with the site so I am asking other coppermine users if they can review my site and give me an honest critical assesment of what I can do to try and increase user registration?

I have submitted the site to various free directories and Search Engines, promoted locally etc, all of which is still ongoing, so I am more asking for ideas on how to improve layout, any features that should be added/removed, critical flaws or errors, etc.

Any feedback however critical is always welcome :)

Thanks - James

Upgrade to 1.4.19 would be a good thing to do ;) it would at least make your gallery safer.

Try using a theme that doesn't hide the registration link.

Thanks guys, I'm going to upgrade shortly, just been waiting to see what changes I should make so I can do it in one go (thats the plan anyway lol). The registration link is a good one, I really like the theme but the "PULL" tab has always worried me slighlty in that it split registered users controls, never considered the registration link before though, thanks ;)
