Hi,
  Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but for the life of me I can't find an answer through search.  :-[

Anywho all I want to do is change where it says USD0.00 to £0.00.  I've been able to easily change it to read GBP0.00 by following Stramm's advice in other threads but if I try £ instead of GBP the gallery shows ?0.00 instead.   ???

Any help would be great.  No doubt it's dead simple but I'm stumped.

Thanks in advance,

Sy

Hi again,
  Sorry to be a pain but I've just discovered that £ isn't working in the checkout generated emails.  For example:
For print: 1 pics :: 1.00£
Shipping :: 1.00£
--------------------------
Total: 2.00£

I've tried:
£
'£'
"£"

But still it just prints whatever I put in as text, except if I use a £ symbol which then is shown as ?  ???

Thanks once again,

Sy

Merged your threads, as they basically deal with the same issue. What's wrong with GBP btw?

Sy

Ah right thank.

Um well there's nothing wrong with GBP, but it's not the used term in the UK.

I'm sure you're thinking it's a small thing...but it's bugging me because I have everything else exactly how I want and I can't figure this one small thing out.  :(

Thanks

Sy

p.s. Any chance the thread subject can be edited to remove "[Solved]", following the merger, please?

Sy

Ok I've finally figured it.

The email being sent from the checkout is outputting as HTML and my emails were set to display as plain text.  Change that to HTML and Bob's your Mother's Brother the £ sign shows.

Can be marked as resolved again now ;) lol
