I am new to this group.

I have tried everything that I can think of, which is not much. I cannot however, for the life of me, figure out why these loaded AVI files will not display.

You can hear the sound but that's it. the files are not very big. Can anyone help?

Help please .... my family is about to revolt!

Plays for me. Make sure you have your video plugin properly installed, right codecs etc. Might help to post details of the plugin/browser/OS and try different ones.

I have tried on a few computers, which led me to believe that I had something missing on my coppermine install. I upgraded my coppermine a few months ago to the latest release. The computer that I am sitting in front of now has WM9Codecs.exe installed (work computer).

When you write "video plugin properly installed, right codecs etc" are you referring to the application side or the client side?

Can you point me to a link to acquire the above?

Client side. If there was anything missing server side then it wouldn't be working for me. You still didn't post any details of your browser or OS so I can't suggest where you might find a video plugin.

Right details ... sorry.

OS is Windows XP with SP2 and the Browser is IE7. The rest of my family will have the same OS but will have IE6.

does that help? I had no idea I needed a video plugin.

pmcleod

Nibbler ... are you able to suggest a video plugin based on what I have provided?

I just installed "DefilerPak-1.22" which I found at http://hellninjacommando.com/defilerpak/ and that seems to be working so far.
