Hi everyone,

I've installed seven custom Coppermine galleries and have never had to resort to asking for help, so please forgive me.  :-[

Using Stram's excellent hack I have been able to successfully switch the category view to four columns. But it's left me with problems on the following album and thumbnail pages (eg: http://www.markswildlife.com/index.php?cat=4 or http://www.markswildlife.com/thumbnails.php?album=14). It looks like a broken cell or table to me, but despite searching and reading many threads I still can't work it out. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated  8)

The domain is www.markswildlife.com. It's running an updated version 1.4.18 and the Mac ox x theme. I've attached theme.php as a text file, if that helps.

Seeing as this is my first ever post, I'd like to take this chance to thank all you guys responsible for giving us Coppermine - it's fantastic!  ;D

Thanks!
Richard

Thanks Nibbler.

Whilst trying to work out where the validation errors came from, I went back to basics and uploaded the original theme.php and template.html from the 1.4.18 Mac ox x theme, and, not surprisingly, it returned 0 errors. As soon as I added Stramm's hack to theme.php, it returned 17 errors, so I guess the problems are in there.

I've left it with the the original theme.php plus Stramm's hack added, so you can see all the errors it's now returning. I guess the same thing is happening for anyone else who has added the hack...?

Any suggestions? If not, I'll just have to go back to a single column format, which is a shame.  :'(

Many thanks in advance for any help...  ;D

My thanks to those who have given this some thought so far. ;)

I'm going to have to put the site back together again soon, but before I do I wanted to give it one more try and see if anyone has any idea how to remove the errors from Stramm's hack so that the multiple column idea works without screwing up the rest of the site or creating all those validation errors.

Or does anyone else have an alternative method of producing multiple columns?

The domain where is you can see the errors is www.markswildlife.com. Just to remind you, at the moment it's just the original Mac ox x files with the hack added to theme.php. I'll leave it like that for a day or two longer...

I've put the site back to how it was, so if you want to see the validation errors you'll have to try it for yourself now.

I'd still be interested if anyone has a working method of displaying categories in more than one column - please post!

Thanks for reading - shame I only attracted seven words in response to this thread....  :'(
