Hello everyone,

I have installed the last version of CPG and everything worked fine until yesterday... the images from one day to other won´t show up. I can´t imagina what could be wrong becouse if I access the pictures through a ftp client I can download and see them perfectly... it looks like only the browser can´t see the pictures. Also if I go into the admin tools and check the files, CPG won´t find the albums folder and it´s sub folders.

The link to the site is: http://www.elbombero.cl/galeria/index.php

Sorry my bad english.

Give a deep link for one picture that you think you have already in your server.

Fabricio Ferrero

It was not a suggestion but a request. Please, give me a deep link of one of the pictures. Thanks,

That's nonsense - the pics are not there as far as http requests are concerned. The example deep link you're suppossed to post is http://www.elbombero.cl/galeria/albums/userpics/16449/CARRO_FORD_7a__VALDIVIA.jpg, which is the image embedded into http://www.elbombero.cl/galeria/displayimage.php?pos=-436. Going directly to the URL http://www.elbombero.cl/galeria/albums/userpics/16449/CARRO_FORD_7a__VALDIVIA.jpg returns a 404 not found error message. This means: the image is not there, at least it's not accessible. If you think that the image exists on your webspace in the folder that equals that URL, then discuss this with your webhost. This isn't something we could help you with, as it's not related to coppermine: the file is not where coppermine expects it to be - what could we possibly do about that? Restore the file from a backup if you have one.
If you can, post the full (absolute) path information that you use to access the above mentioned file through FTP - it should be something like /var/www/elbombero/public_html/galeria/albums/userpics/16449/CARRO_FORD_7a__VALDIVIA.jpg

Hello again,
Thanks for the answers but why do you say that is it nonsense? I just made a question I thought it could be an error related to Coppermine. I'm very sorry.

I checked the files of the links and I downloaded them with ftp and it just worked, so I will ask the guys from the hosting if they did something.

We (Joachim and I) are pointing the same thing. You're missing something because a language barrier. I can't force you to post in Spanish sub board but you should.

To clear out: Your files are not there.  ::)

Thank you very much!

In the file attached you can clearly see that your file is not there.

So, please, do as Joachim suggested 6 post ago:

OK, I will do that, it's just strange that I can access the file with ftp but not with the browser.

Thanks for your time.

Nibbler

It's not at all strange. The files are in userpicss not userpics. Rename the folder and the pics will show up.
