Installed 1.423 from scratch.  Ran the script and got the message that all was well "Let's Go"  When I clicked that button to go to log in I get a message 500 Internal Sever Error.  Any ideas as how to fix this?  I am using a MySQL database if that makes a difference.

Thanks
Davis

Please stop advertising that - it's not an acceptable fix.

Okay so can anyone tell what IS an acceptable fix?  This is a clean install.  I have no idea as to what can cause this.  Please help.  Here is the link to my page http://tropicsnation.com/comments2/

It's the same problem as in my topic:-
May or may not be the same. An internal server error is exactly what the name suggests: something unexpected happened that the server could not cope with. The reason can lie in your particular setup or a bug. It's impossible to tell just by looking at the error 500 page. Details can be found by looking into the server's logs. Do so if you can and supply the details if you can. Davis should do so here (in his/her thread), while sharpo should do so in the other thread( in his/her thread).
