I don't even want to think about changing hosts, that would be a nightmare, ~25 different websites, several MySQL Databases, forums, galleries.  Ughhh!!

I will look into this Jupload tool tonight at home.

Thanks!

Try reducing the amount of images you add in one go.

You also have a script or plugin running on your pages, some version of open the "Powered by Coppermine" link in a new window. (best guess)
Try turning that off in case it might not be running properly.
Doesn't affect the upload. The plugin in question probably is "Plugin "Link Target" for cpg1.4.x: open external links in new windows".

I tried that already, this morning I attempted to just add 10 images.  Same thing.

Just got this from 1and1, it irritatesme that they always change support people, the first guy was going a certain route and i replied asking specific questions and this guy comes back and talks about a totally different thing and never answers my questions.

1and1:
Due to extensive security, we currently place limits on the number of
connections that can be initiated on a single host. If there are too
many failed attempts to log in via SSH or FTP from one computer, we
firewall the computer systems IP. Xinetd has to be restarted and during
that all existing SSH and FTP sessions are killed. Xinetd is the
internet services daemon which is restarted for security purposes. In an
effort to surpass this feature, please create a file with the following
line:

AllowStoreRestart on

Please name this file .ftpaccess
