Hey, hello. I hope someone can help me with this error I get when I try to browse my web page at
http://www.ainara-de.org/index.php:

Coppermine Photo Gallery - Albums Folder
The contents of this folder aren't meant to be browsed. Visit the Coppermine Photo Gallery instead - you'll be redirected. If you don't want to wait (or your browser doesn't support redirect), click here.

I don't knwo what it means. I'm a newbie and all this coppermine photo gallery thing is very very new for me.

Thanks for helping me.

Are you performing a fresh install, or did your gallery work at some stage. Looks like you haven't preserved the folder structure when you extracted the coppermine archive. If you performed a fresh install, delete all files and start from scratch. If you used to have a working gallery, re-upload a working index page into your webroot instead the index of the albums folder.

It's the first time my coppermine photo gallery works after installations with several errors.
I just uploaded the coppermine photo gallery files with the same structure they had in the downloaded folder. I uploaded them to httpdocs.
How can I make the index.php work as you say? What do I exactly need to do?

Thank you so much for answering.

Apart from being newbie, I'm spanish and I'm doing my best to communicate because my english is not so good.

Thank you, anyway.

You might want to use the Spanish sub-board if you don't feel comfortable using the English board. If you do, remember to resolve your thread here.

What's a download folder for you? Anyway, download a fresh copy of the coppermine package, then unzip on your client, making sure to preserve the structure within the archive. After doing that, upload the index file from the root folder of the archive to your webroot.

I uploaded them to httpdocs.
Webserver setups differ, so that may or may not be the correct folder - we can't tell you, as we don't know your webserver's folder structure. The name sounds OK though.

Thank you so much for you help. The error was solved.

Please post what you did to solve this for the benefit of others with similar issues.

I uninstalled the coppermine photo gallery and installed it again in my server. I converted the whole httpdocs folder, where my coppermine photo gallery is installed into chmod: 777, not to have any problem and the problem was solved.

Thnaks a lot.
