Is it possible to set or make it so that an url leads to an users folder?
like thisismysite.com/peter and when people klick on such a link they automaticly come at their folder?

Joachim Müller

If you do that manually (in your .htaccess file): yes.
Out of the box / as a feature: no.

Wow, that was a quick reply, thanks!

What should I add in the file to make it work?

Depends on what you want to accomplish - the word "user folder" has been coined by you and doesn't mean anything to me nor is it being used in the coppermine documentation. Here are some possible examples what you might mean:

How mod_rewrite works and what you need to set up depends on your server setup and is in no way related to coppermine and therefor beyond the scope of this board. Google for mod_rewrite if you need details.

With folder I ment album of a user, so it would be example.com/albumuser  (lost in translation ;) )
That way a user would be able to place his url on other places without long urls etc.

Mod-rewrite is not the problem, I know how that works, it is purely if the way I showed is possible and if so, what to write in the HTacces file.
