I want to add description to a picture but I don't want to show the description on the main page.If the description is showed, and it contains many words,it may destroy the whole page.
And then what should I do ?Please help me ! ???

We're out of crystal balls, so you better start by respecting board rules.

Youfly

Excuse me,sir, but I don't understand what did you mean.I'm not good at English.Sorry.

Youfly

Did you mean that  I should show you the website ? I test CPG on local disk.

Joachim Müller

Then you need to ask your local disk for support, sorry. We require a link to your gallery if you want support.

can i ask the same question then

www.gig-ticket.com

its sort of two questions really

i'd like to either remove the caption under the thumbnails (or ideally truncate it but thats for another day unless i can find the search query for that part and i'll play with the query result)
eg: http://www.gig-ticket.com/thumbnails.php?album=7&page=14

because the descriptions are going to be gig experiences etc and could go on for a few paragraphs

but also i cant seem to work out how to show the description under the photo here:
http://www.gig-ticket.com/displayimage.php?album=7&pid=242#top_display_media

ive done numerous search query variations and this post is the nearest ive come to it

the other option would be to add a custom field but again then how do add that custom field to under the photo in display image ?

ok ignore my bit about description under photo - ive realised its because of the theme i'm using - (only 3 days into coppermine :) )
