I'm just updating my old 1.4x to 1.5 (latest svn checkout).
CPG is bridged with SMF 2.0 RC3.

Everything seems to work fine so far but: my 'test user' can't create an album inside the category I set up for it.

Category 'INBOX': Group 'Fotoalbum' is allowed to create albums and upload
Groups: 'Fotoalbum' has all rights to upload pics
Testuser is member of the group 'Fotoalbum' and the post-based smf group 'No posts so far'

The strange thing: when I change to...

Category 'INBOX': Group 'No posts so far'  (= a SMF post based group)

... the test user is able to create new albums and upload to 'INBOX'.
Note: 'No posts so far' is NOT allowed to upload.
The test user is ONLY member of the two groups mentioned.

If I remove test user from the 'Fotoalbum' group he is no longer able to upload - looks like if the combination of the post based group with at least one group that's allowed to upload makes the trick.

Another issue that may be related to that: The 'Registered' group is missing on my cpg groups table after bridging. SMF has no real 'registered' group, so maybe that's ok, but I'm not sure.

I am slightly confused - works not as expected.  ???

Please note that this topic is months old. ;)

Anyway, it was meant more as bug report, not as a support request.
