Hey everyone.  I have been reading through many of the topics here, but i am very, very slow . . .

first question . . .

When i go to upload an image it asks for both the place it is located on my cpu as well as the address it can be found at my site?

Thing is when i ut both in i get an error.  Am i supposed to make up and new address for the image, where i want it to be stored on the site?

Also, is there a way for members to log in and only upload images to their own gallery and for still to be public for everyone to see?  I just don't want other members uploading to each other's albums . . .

Right now I am far from getting my gallery up.  I want to change the themem, but it is nothing like doing a new layout in html.

So, is there a way to change the color scheme and possibly add a menu to the left side of the gallery without d/ling a new theme?

I am sorry if this does not make any sense, i just need a lot of help.

I have had users waiting patiently to have their own gallery and to be able to upload to it.

however, having never done php before, this is what i have given them, all hand doen by me.

so you see, this gallery will be beneifical to both myself as well as the members there.

Can anyone help me out a bit?

thanks a lot.

nevermind.  All i need to know now is about changing the theme.

Read http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#creating to give you an idea how to modify themes.
