Guys and Gals

I'm running Coppermine 1.2.1 integrated with VB 3 - I'm currently testing Coppermine to move away from Gallery eventually - I've installed everything all cool but for the live of me I can't figure out how to upload an image. The only Coppermine Upload option I have is to add pre ftp'd folders.

Am I missing something or is this the only way to add images to a Coppermine Gallery.

Regards

In admin mode, click on 'groups' in the admin menu.  Make sure your groups have permission to upload there.
Then, when logged in, users should see the upload link in the normal menu.
Note, in some themes, this is a hidden link, that appears when you mouse over the '@' or home icon.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

In admin mode when I click groups it redirects me to my vbulletin Admin area - I've also gone back to my default skin.

that's very unlikely - would mean you have doe something wrong on integration - please post a screenshot or two.

P.S. as a side note: what Casper describes will only work if you use the vbulletin bridge file that comes with coppermine. If you're using the mod that flows around on the vbulletin pages that is supposed to do a deep integration, things may be different - as it is a third party hack, you have to understand that it can't be supported here, so if you're using the hack from the vbulletin board, you'll have to ask for support there.

Hi guys,

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you about this - I'm using the bridge file that I got from this site. If I click the button to go to the groups it was redirecting me to my VB Admin area. I typed in the URL Directly in to the address bar and it allowed me view the groups - from here I set the permissions correctly for the groups it had taken from VB and it seems to be working fine now.

Although my moderators haven't been able to upload to any Categories I've created.
