on the main album page I see this above the album at the very top
"_$form(textEl) { if (textEl.createTextRange) textEl.caretPos = document.selection.createRange().duplicate(); } //--> EOT; $html .= "\n"; return $html; } ?> "

in the config page when logged in as admin I see this at the top
"/ else } } return $output; } ?>"

and the output of the page stops in the "Thumbnail View" I see no options after
"Number of rows on thumbnail page"

at the top of the config page, the line above this
"Configuration - Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.3.0"
I see "Invalid action" just below the login, album, etc toolbar

I saved my config and album directories
everything else seems to work fine

I thought maybe it was because I had a theme in use when I did the upgrade, so I moved the theme and it looks like coppermine then revertted to the default. I can't actually select the theme because the save changes button doesn't show in the config, so I guess that could be part of it. not sure though. The link in the documentation to upgrade themes is broken, so I have no idea if that's the problem or not.

anyway, any help would be great
take a look at what I see over at

thanks in advance

the output is from include/smilies.inc.php, but it shouldn't be there. Get a fresh copy of the coppermine package and re-upload - maybe your files got corrupted during upload. If you have modified any files, undo your modifications.

I started doing md5sums on the server and my local computer and found that ncftp had decided I didn't want to overwrite some of the files for some reason, it didn't tell me that, it just ignored them. ANyway, fresh upload and I'm rockin, thanks for the help!
