The latest release of this integration module .

Supports Coppermine versions 1.1d 1.1.0 & 1.2

Apart from some nimor bugfixes, also added functionality like the option to have a menu-item to point straight into someones user album and also comes with multi-purpose side-block.

Download will be available on this site and on //www.nuy.info

The package is available on our download page and comes in two flavours: compressed as zip or tgz

is there a way to convert the regular coppermine db into the pncpg db? i have a regular install of coppermine right now, but im thinking about installing postnuke and use the cpg mod. is there an easy way of doing this?

casNuy

That is no problem at all, with this PostNuke module you can integrate your regular Coppermine into PostNuke. All you actually do, is add one(1) script to Coppermine to enable this functionality. All information is contained in the readme that comes with pnCPG.

would i lose all my users? I currently have 54 users and hundreds of photos, would i lose any of this info?

casNuy

No, you will loose nothing, no users , no photos.

Jut bear in mind that the Coppermine users are not transferred to PostNuke. There is only an option available to transfer Postnuke users to Coppermine.

i have an existing coppermine with 60 or so users. ive installed and integrated cpg with postnuke on fresh installs. is there a way to import my user database from the old cpg to the new integrated cpg? also is there a way for me to import the photos on the old cpg to the new integrated cpg?

Thanks in advance. your mod rocks.

casNuy

Just point pnCPG to your "old" coppermine installation, should be no problem.
If everything is working ok, just upgrade the old installation. Seems the easiest way to me.

well that's what i was thinking of doing, but the old coppermine's database is separate from the pnuke installation. so they do not share 1 database. would this be a problem?

casNuy

That would not work, but you could export the coppermine table from that datavbase and import it into the PN database.
All you then have to do is to adjust the config.inc.php in the includes dirtectory of coppermine to adjust the database settings.
If you make a backup copy of this file, you can safely try it out. (converting back is as simple as copying back the backupped config file.

Soon the Coppermine for PHPNuke is also compatible with PostNuke.

Then you have a fully integrated version which uses your postnuke members etc.

Although it will have some bugs, it's working in my PostNuke0.726bilingual
There are 2 kinds of users in this world: satisfied and complainers.
Why do we never hear something from the satisfied users?

Cas has created up a full package of the postnuke files and the coppermine standalone: no need to download to packages anymore! Get it here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89658&release_id=195858
