when viewing thumnails in the title there are sorting options:

TITLE  +   -
FILE NAME  +   -
DATE  +   -

how can i remove this?

this part isnt being used by anyone on my site and probly never will so by removing it i can make the that table its in a bit smaller.

any help appreciated thanx.

Casper

Open themes/yourtheme/theme.php.

Find the section headed;
// HTML template for title row of the thumbnail view (album title + sort options)
$template_thumb_view_title_row = <<<EOT

Edit the table to just show the
<td width="100%" class="statlink"><h2>{ALBUM_NAME}</h2></td>
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

for the default/classic theme, you look for// HTML template for title row of the thumbnail view (album title + sort options)
$template_thumb_view_title_row = <<<EOT

                        <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                        <tr>
                                <td width="100%" class="statlink"><h2>{ALBUM_NAME}</h2></td>
                                <td><img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1"></td>
                                <td class="sortorder_cell">
                                        <table height="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                                        <tr>
                                <td class="sortorder_options">{TITLE}</td>
                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=ta" title="{SORT_TA}">&nbsp;+&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=td" title="{SORT_TD}">&nbsp;-&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                        </tr>
                                        <tr>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options">{NAME}</td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=na" title="{SORT_NA}">&nbsp;+&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=nd" title="{SORT_ND}">&nbsp;-&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                        </tr>
                                        <tr>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options">{DATE}</td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=da" title="{SORT_DA}">&nbsp;+&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=dd" title="{SORT_DD}">&nbsp;-&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                        </tr>
                                        </table>
                                </td>
                        </tr>
                        </table>

EOT;
and replace it with// HTML template for title row of the thumbnail view (album title + sort options)
$template_thumb_view_title_row = <<<EOT

                        <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                        <tr>
                                <td width="100%" class="statlink"><h2>{ALBUM_NAME}</h2></td>
                        </tr>
                        </table>

EOT;
No PHP there, everything plain html stuff...
