Hi, I really like this gallery and I'll like to use it on my site. I already downloaded the 1.3 version and unzipped it(everything goes into my unzipped folder) I just don't know how to get it from here to my site. Then after its installed, how do I get my pictures into it and make my albums. I'm sorry but I could really use some immediate help asap. :-[
Thanks

I also tried to upload the coppermine file to my angelfire site but the folder consists of about 100 things and I can't upload each little file.

Using your ftp program, or file manager, you should be able to upload the complete coppermine directory in 1 go, not 1 file at a time.
When you have done that, you need to chmod (that means change the permissions) on some folders, as the docs tell you.

You will have to create a database if you don't yet have one, and note down the details. Then just browse to the install.php and follow the instructions.

When I first did this, I was not sure how to do it, but if you read the docs first, but it is actually normally very easy. Good luck.

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Angelfire appears to be having hotlink protection, that's why the avatar pic you have chosen for you profile on this board won't display properly. [/off topic]
Angelfire is a very poor webhost - before fiddling with Coppermine install, make sure you have the minimum requirements on Angelfire.

Oh thanks for the quick replies. I'll try to work in file manager to upload the program, I'll let you know how I do. Thanks again.

I try to upload my coppermine 1.3.0  file to my website but its saved as a folder. They don't let me upload folders, so I keep opening it until it opens up into many different files. What am I doing wrong? I already upzipped it and it went  in unzipped folder. Thats where I am trying to retrieve it from. If someone could help me, it would really be appreciated! Thank you.

you'll have to look this up on the angelfire page, maybe they don't even offer you ftp upload permissions at all. If they allow you to upload by ftp, you will need a username and password, together with some settings that have to be entered in the ftp software you use. Please understand that this board is the wrong place to look for help on genuine AngeFire issues. You better look for help on their page, or you could google for the answer.
