OK, perhaps I'm a moron for posting this, but please help.

Whenever I click certain links in Coppermine 1.3.2 such as clicking a directory listed under "batch add files" or submitting configuration changes, I'll get redirected to:

http://direct.xilinx.com/bvdocs/packages/cp132.pdf

I thought about that for a while, and I realized that clicking on aforementioned links did a "lucky" google search and the result popped up because my coppermine directory is "cpg132."  When I had my directory named "coppermine," it led me to the main page for coppermine.  I have no clue what's going on here.  My domain name is not resolved yet, but I doubt that is the problem.  Looks like there might be a link error in the php code.  Also I was kinda thinking that I can't be the first to have this stupid problem... can anyone help? :)

Uhhh, actually that would be the reason.  Until the DNS servers are updated the only way to get to your site would be to use the IP address.  Wait the 72 hours and your problem should disappear.

Probably not, but your the first that's posted it.   ;)

Ok thanks!  I've been using a temporary domain assigned from my webhost:

http://saltysea.nexcess.net

and my domain is supposed to be

http://www.saltyseadawgs.com

so that would cause my problem huh?

Yes.  If you installed your gallery using the temporary domain, you'll have to edit your config table and change it to the permanent one.  Or you can use your FTP program to delete the install.lock file and run the install process again.

Damn, so there's no way to get it working with my temporary domain, huh?
