what setting do i change so that users can send ecards/ at the moment it says they do not have permission

thank you

kegobeer

Start by reading the documentation that comes with Coppermine.  It explains how to set permissions for your users to send ecards, upload files, etc.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

wouldnt it of been easier to just tell me thanks anyway

stewright

ive deleted it... and cant see anything about it on the FAQ

Yeah, I guess I can't expect you to take a look in the /docs directory and open up index.htm and take a few minutes to scan thru it.  But it's obviously ok for me to explain it for you.  I don't remember telling you to read any kind of FAQ.  But in case you are interested, here's a picture of it.

The docs are available as well if you click on "Documentation" at the very top navigation menu of this page :o.
We (supporters) don't like repeating stuff that is accessible easily, because you're suppossed not only to come up with a solution for your actual problem, but to solve the next question/support request as well by reading the docs (all of it). Having less questions asked on the board that are already covered in the docs means the board get's less cluttered with redundant information, maing it easier for users who actually search before posting to come up with usefull information in no time (information that actually is not in the docs).
