I got this message installing coppermine.
my (paid)webhost has 644 file permission (write rights only for owner) and 755 folder permission, and they can't change this.
I've installed coppermine to another (free)webhost with the same rights for folder and files and it works fine.

I have edited the 'include/config.inc.php' file manually, but i got always the same error.
So there is a way to say to the script that the file 'config.inc.php'  is already filled and configured or to skip this config page ?

Thanks in advance :)

regards
