i've seen that in this files are some hardcodet paths to the albums folder

upload.php,v 1.55 2004/09/30 19:44:19 nibbler999
image_processor.php,v 1.15 2004/09/30 19:44:19 nibbler999

In stable branch it was fixed.

you're right - fixed in the devel branch for upload.php and image_processor.php.
