Referer problem with CPG 1.2rc2

I've just installed CPG 1.2rc2 on a french Web Service Provider called free.fr. They offer PHP4 compiled with GD 1.2 and MySQL.

I setup CPG in a /coppermine directory and ran the install.php without any problem.

Problems came out when I tried to configure CPG. When I hit the "Save new configuration" button on the config.php page, I'm redirected to http://fakehost.free.fr/fakehost.free.fr/coppermine/config.php instead of http://fakehost.free.fr/coppermine/config.php . Thus the configuration changes are not taken into account (impossible to set debug mode).

Same problem if I use the "user mode" link, the URL is http://fakehost.free.fr/coppermine/admin.php?admin_mode=0&referer=/fakehost.free.fr/coppermine/profile.php?op=edit_profile . It looks like some time the hostname and folder are mixed up...

I've tried with the define('SILLY_SAFE_MODE', 1); in the include/config.inc.php and without it and got the same behaviour. Unfortunately, my provider does not allow chmod neither on dirs nor on files.

Any help would be welcome.
