I just tried updating my site to the newests release candidate coppermine.

Everything in the update.php went fine, and for the most part the site seemed to work.

Unfortunately there we some unusual glitches.  First off, in the user albums section, the system would indicate that there are two albums for a certain user.  However, when you select that user to view his/her albums, the system would only display one album.  Along the same lines.... On the index page the last category would say twelve albums are there, but not actually show them (as private or public albums) and would also contain a paging setup in the lower right hand side.

I'm really not explaining this well enough, so i'll re-setup rc2 on a development bed, and edit in a link after i'm done at work....

Anyone else experiencing weird annomolies with the new rc2 upgrade?

Other than that.... Smoking product.  Well done DevTeam!

Alright, so I added up the updated 1.2.0rc2 for people to check out....

If you notice in the girls section in the bottom, there should be 2 visible albums to public users.  However if you click on the Girls link to dig deeper you get more problems.

Logging in gives more headaches aswell....

Help DevTeam!

Warning: bikini girls on above link, don't click it if your employer has strict rules on this (in fact, don't click there at all while you're on the job)!

Could you please give us a screen shot of your config settings? Did you apply any modifications after install?

I apologize about not warning about that link.

hm, I must confess I'm a little puzzled. Your config looks perfectly ok, but maybe you can try playin with the "Number of levels of categories" and "Number of columns for the album list"...

Unfortunately I haven't...  That's what makes me upset.  Other than these little graphical problems I have with rc2 everything seems to work awesome.

You do however see what I see right?  The problem with the invisible (but described) albums?  Aswell as the wierd anomolie with the last category....

I really hope we can fix it, cause i want to continue with Coppermine as I think it's a beautiful piece of code.  Anyways, let me know what you think... Even if it's a lost cause.

Thanks again,
Jordan

Yes, I can confirm that there are anomalies...

Maybe some other dev would like to have a look - I just might be too dumb...

I seem to have found something!  I tried using a fresh install and setup some galleries.

It looks like albums act up when I make their permissions setup to a custom user group.  If I setup an album to anything other than Admin/Public/Just Me it will hide the album icon and/or produce the following error...

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/rc2/themes/hardwired/theme.php on line 1126

Hope this sheds some light on things! =)
