I'm sure there's an obvious answer, so I apologize, but how can I limit members from loading more than X amount of images?

use the term "quota" in "groups" - this will alow you to set the webspace the user is assigned (more flexible approach than the total number of pics). Currently, this can only be set by user group, not by album.

Great!  That's what I had assumed, but thought I would confirm.  So the disk quota of, hypothetically, 1024 KB for "Registered Users" is for each individual within that group... not 1024 KB for all Registered Users?  Correct?

Only problem that I can see with this is that a user with a disk quota of 1024kb can upload up to 512  2kb files and completely spam your gallery with little 2kb gif images. It seems it would be better if you could regulate the number of uploads rather than relying on a quota.

If you're concerned about spam, you can require admin approval.
