after installing the required files, install instructions are directing to run the install scipt on the own server , after doing so I have following message while using Dreamweaver MX 2004 ;

The installer has already been run successfuly once and is now locked.

If you want to run the installer again, you first need to delete the '' file that was created in the directory where you put Coppermine. You can do this with any FTP program.

}

function html_installer_locked()
{
    global $DFLT;

Please could who can give further directions ?

what do you mean by saying "while using Dreamweaver MX 2004". You're suppossed to run the files in your browser, not within the editor. If you get the message that says you already installed, well - then you probably already have installed coppermine and should be ready to run. If your server is publicly available, post a link to your coppermine gallery.

I think what he meant was.. he opened the file in dreamweaver to see the coding... and thats what it says... I have the same problem.. I do not know WHAT file it is that coppermine makes whenever u do an install... and i wish to delete this file it makes to install it again cause i am locked out... and its not working right now. so whats the file(s) coppermine makes after you do the install.php

It creates include/config.inc.php to hold the db settings and an install.lock file to prevent visitors re-running the installer.
