Coppermine without tables

I have made a layout on my homepage without tables, using divs. When installing Coppermine, I saw that the whole layout is made with tables. How can I solve this problem? Is there a version or mod or something with divs, or do I have to redesign the source code? Have anyone done this before, and can it be done in a easy way?
