Hello there

I have just installed Coppermine on my server and it works perfectly except for my slideshow.
When I click the slideshow button, the page is loaded with the first picture (with huge borders) and then nothing happens.

in the button of the screen, my internet explorer says: "done, but with errors on page".

I have set the slideshow interval to 1000 milliseconds..

regards Morten

Direct link to one of those pages, please.

slideshow works fine for me using Firefox 1.0.4. 1000 milliseconds is too fast though, try setting it to a lower value, as other browsers (or users on a slower connection) may suffer from caching issues. Setting the delay to 5 seconds (http://www.beercouncil.dk/billeder/displayimage.php?album=13&pid=514&slideshow=5000) works as well in IE for me.

It worked without issue in Firefox. In IE, it was stuck on the first picture for a long time. Then I reloaded the page and the slideshow worked. It might have to do with the way IE handles file downloads. The initial holdup might be it trying to download all the files. Once the files get downloaded, it handles the slideshow better. Also, 1000 ms might be too short an interval to allow for the images to load up.

added: GauGau beat me to it but I guess it helps to show 2 posts that are in agreement on the issue. :D

Thanks for your replies (both of you :))

I've actualleý only tried the page from my computer at work. It is likely that they have som security-settings that stop the page from being showed properly.

One of my friends also now says it works on his computer, so i guess it was the wrong computer i tested the page on :)

Sorry for troubling you. And many thanks - i've change the showing-rate to 5000 milliseconds
