Hi!

Currently I am using yabbse with a functional bridge to coppermine. I now plan to upgrade to smf. In the smf-coppermine bridge provided with v1.3.2 there is a warning:
// WARNING : Do not activate this bridge if you already have pictures or     //
//           usergroups in your gallery.

So what can I do? I already have pictures and stuff in the gallery, so how can I bridge it to smf after upgrading? Help me ???

Best regards

Klaus

Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions

Hi!

Here is the link to the forum: http://forum.musikding.de/yabbse/index.php
Here is the gallery: http://forum.musikding.de/gallery/index.php

Currently there are 20 users who have posted pictures in their galleries.

It depends if the userids of your members will be the same after upgrade. If they are then it will be no problem. Otherwise, you only have 20 users, so you can note their ids and fix Coppermine afterwards.

Hi!

So if the member_ids are the same after upgrading, everything will work? And you are right, with 20 users I could fix it by hand if it should not work. Where does coppermine store the ids of the members?

I think I will try the upgrade, hoping everything will continue to work aftwards  ;D

Best regards,

Klaus
