It was mentioned that this has been asked several times...but I've found no evidence of that statement. Oh well...maybe someone can help...
I found only one reference to getting rid of the ugly number of views on the thumbnails after an hour of searching...and then, it didn't work.

I'm running ver 1.2.0final and never found that snippet I was supposed to replace in /include/functions.inc.php

I found something close...and tried...but it didn't work because it's not the right hack for this.

Dunno why this option wasn't added in the config gui because it's so ugly and ruins a otherwise professional layout.

I really like this album viewer so far and hope to style my own version...but first, I need to get rid of the # of views under the thumbnails.

Thanks you very much.

You can't say it didn't work if you didn't try it, now could you?

Look near line 479, under the heading //Set picture caption.

One person's ugliness is another's must have feature.
"Then, Fletch," that bright creature said to him, and the voice was very kind, "let's begin with level flight . . . ."

Ahh...My notepad's search feature skipped right over that and went to something similar near the bottom. Ok...thanks...However, somethings now screwed up and I can't enter the admin mode or even logout.

One step forward, two steps back.
I've also noticed that CPG is so complex that I may not be able to style it with my own graphics the way I want...too many includes.

your meant to edit/create a theme to change the looks of your cppermine gallery. Have a look at the themes folder. To change the general layout, modify template.html, to change the colors (and some other stuff) modify style.css and to change the dynamic stuff (like navigation etc.) edit theme.php. There are no includes involved in this process.
