I would like to use Coppermine on my website, but as I have posted before, my server won't install or support GD or ImageMagick.

I was wondering if someone could write a modification for me that doesn't use ImageMagick to make thumbnails. So I can just upload the pictures and thumbnails, then batch add them.

If there is another way to go about it, please let me know. I really don't know how to do this myself. Thanks so much in advance.

Cassie

P.S. If you would like to see what I have installed so far, here is the URL.

Get a other host and tell us the hostname so peeps can avoid that silly host.

I recommend aventurehost.com for support they isntalled GD and ImageMagick for me.
1 bad point, their server sometimes lacks in speed and restarts

Why do we never hear something from the satisfied users?

The only problem with that is that I've paid until next fall. I would like to just use coppermine without GD/IM. Also, I have so many photos, that I need a lot of space and bandwidth, and my current server is unlimited... I'm very poor and do this website out of my own pocket, so a good server with monthly fees just won't work for me.

Can someone please help me?

It is impossible to user coppermine without IM or GD.

If you cannot change hosts, I would suggest trying Menalto Gallery with Gallery Remote.
