How do i change the appearance of my gallery ? Can i download new ones and install it or am I limited to just the ones that come with CPG ?

Also....how can I edit the gallery so i can put ads on the index.php of the main gallery ?

hyperion

You select a theme in the Config page.

Additional themes are availble for download: Click Project->Themes.

Please not that many of the additional themes are not GPL, which means you must observe the restrictions the designers placed upon them. Mostly, that means leaving their signatures and links intact. You add the themes to /themes.

Ads: This is covered in a different topic.  Do a search for it.  You'll figure it out quickly if you know PHP and take a look at theme.php and template.html.

So are your manners.  As there is no pleasing you, I suggest you modify theme.php and template.html to make your own.

If you're through with the themes in the demo (most of the user contributed ones are by DaMysterious), you're probably done with pre-designed themes for coppermine (at least I haven't heard of other pages dealing with coppermine theming).
Like hyperion said: you can build your own theme, just take a look into /themes/default/style.css for a start: you can change most color values there (this is btw a nice way to learn some PHP, HTML and CSS as well without having to dig into too much detail).
