How to change user create album in other categories?

Hi ALL, I'm a newbie in use Coppermine gallery.
CPG it's so great !!
But i've a question..."How can i change user create album in other categories? NOT just Upload Pic in Other categories.."
I find a "bug"(Maybe it's a bug..)..that all user just can create album in "User galleries"...
How to setup can change it?! Let user can free create album in other categories?

It's a drawback of the current coppermine code that users can't create albums in public categories, but not a "bug": we never said the software was capable to do this. There's no hack to add this feature to coppermine. You're welcome to code it and post your solution.

                   And I'll try to modify the code to let user can create album in public categories.

This would be a big enhancement. As another newbie, I really am impressed by Coppermine, but the inability to "share" catagories with other users really, REALLY limits the utility of the package as a collaborative instrument. I am not able to code the solution, but can testify as to how useful and desirable this feature would be.

OK, I am brandnew in Coppermine, but familiar with web-programming in php (sorry for my english, I´m German).

I didn´t want to ask AGAIN, if registered Users can create albums (yes I have been searching this forum  )

Has this feature already been included (what govern said before)

And another thing:
I´ve looked directly in the MySQL Database and in table _usergroups THERE ACTUALLY IS a column named "can_create_albums". Could it be, that the "registered user can create albums" feature is already included, but still not viewable over the admin panel website?

I set it to 1 now and will see what happpens...

Answers would still be great about what´s the news on that feature (searching ALL subjects about this feature takes for ever  )
