hi ive been having alot of trouble with pncpg. I have a new post nuke site and i want to install a working version of the coppermine gallery within the postnuke, it was one of the main things that swayed me to tranfer my site to postnuke.

i have installed coppermine as a stand alone as the setup docs say, andhave followed the rest of the intrustions aswell.
the stand alone gallery works fine, yet when i try to use it with in post nuke it doesnt open the page, it just takes a long time to load and it doesnt change from that, just sits in my browser as if i was waiting for it to load,..yet still nothing.

so i clicked the box in the pncpg admin settings to open gallery in a new window, and it works fine.

ive searched the froum and many others looking for advise on how to over come this and still not rectified the situation.

as i said the main reason i started to revdevelop my site with a pn was to have the embeded gallery ect so it would be a great shame if i couldnt acheive this.

can some one shed some light to this for me?

cheers

as a first step, post a link to your site (both to the standalone install and the embedded one).

The problem here is that you are using Coppermine 1.35 in combination with PostNuke 0.76x. Mosy likley you are also using pnCPG 2.7
For 0.76x pnCPG 3.1 has been released. Unfortunately this works only with Coppermine 1.4.1.
At the time I was expecting a faster relase of this version, though I would be on the bleeding edge. Now I am just too early since 1.4.1 is not officially released.
It does work veryw ell, so your options are to move to 1.4.1 to have it embedded or to run standalone or to use the embed function which comes with Gallery 2.
