How can I edit a style? Or change the colours, or make my owne styles for the gallery?

Change the template or style of you gallery to the "styleguide."  This nifty tool allows you to see the different areas of the gallery layout where you can change the colors.  If you click on the faq link or read me I think it is called, it gives some good pointers on how to begin.  Color editing is done in the style.css file and and layout changes can be made in the template.html file.  Definately search for this stuff, there is a lot of info on here about it.
