Edit include/config.inc.php and enter the details of your restored database.

0CooL

yes that's already there but still doesn't want to pull my pictures... going crazzy

i have installed fresh copy of coppermine
then i have replaced album folderd with my old one with pictures
then i have imported tables in mysql. but it still doesn't work don't know why i know it's something simple that i'm forgeting.

also i have created php.ini file does that have to do anything with my pictures now showing up in my coppermine.

I think you installed a new coppermine and set a certain db prefix... like cpg135_
then you restored your old db... but it has another prefix like cpg132_

now you need to edit config.inc.php and enter the prefix gf the old db... in this example cpg132_

have you done that??

0CooL

yes sir the prefix matches it's cpg132_

also i don't know if any mods that i did to my old coppermine would matter like Integration with phpbb.

Stramm

then recheck if you've backed up your mysql db including data and not only the structure

0CooL

how do i do that, that's probably it.....

Stramm

with a tool like phpmyadmin you can explore your mysql db (and much more)

Stramm

or check your backup.sql file (open it in a text editor)

0CooL

yeah i think i did that, there is no comments or nothing like that.

when i get home i'll check more to see if i have one that's completly backed up....
