I get this error

Warning: getimagesize(albums/batchuploaddir/IMG_7420.JPG) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhost/site/cpg142/include/iptc.inc.php on line 21

Is this happening to other Coppermine users?

Google lists 55.000 pages at the moment http://www.google.com/search?q=include%2Fiptc.inc.php+on+line+21

Luckily I found out how to fix it.

I uploaded the pics via ftp to gallery.mysite.com/albums/holiday2005
Coppermine added the pictures and made thumbnails and normals.
But the pics were not available from mysite.com/gallery/albums/holiday2005

Solution:

I moved the pictures from
gallery.mysite.com/albums/holiday2005
to
mysite.com/gallery/albums/holiday2005

I suppose Coppermine is blameless, but I wonder if there is a way to easily prevent people from making stuff that leads to this mistake: http://www.google.com/search?q=include%2Fiptc.inc.php+on+line+21

I'm having this exact same problem except I have no idea how to fix it the way you said.

Warning: getimagesize(albums/Events/Syriana/thumb_Syriana1.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/falloni/public_html/Castle/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 226
Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.

It also says that the file is unwritable next to the file I had just uploaded to my FTP.

I have no idea what this means. I changed the 777 thing so I know that can't be it. What the hell do I do?
