New CPG install, failed to create gallery with 'batch add' & GD

[Tammo]

Hello ! I've just installed CPG 1.4.3 to a free hosting service. It failed to create my gallery (resized images) of the uploaded images. Message : 'Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size 'image.
I am totally newbie to CPG ... so ... is it possible that my free provider does not allow image resizing ? ( GD 2.x is provided)
