I hope I have not overread something, I read through the docu, faq, stickies and some posts.
I am stuck with a maybe messed up database - files inclusive thumbs are in the album, batch upload tells they are in database already but they do not show up. Tried update thumbs, no result.
Tried delete album and create again hoping it would fetch the thumbs and images, no result.
Other batch uploads worked fine. If I can not fix it how can I delete the files? I read you should only delete via the cpanel but they do not show up there.
Permissions for albums have been to 755, also set to 777 later.

File size is no issue. And since it works fine with all other albums, also worked fine before I think I have messed up my database maybe by deleting something.

This is the link to the page in question, as you can see album 8 is empty while there should be images.

Don't know if this is needed, but that is a part of the debug info:

QuoteI read you should only delete via the cpanel
Who said so? That's just plainly wrong.

I know I am new and it can happen that I miss or misunderstand something but that does not mean I have not read the manual or a simple link to it is a help.  :/

FYI -  Manual 4.11.1. last paragraph:
QuoteOnce files have been added to coppermine's database, make sure that you never rename or delete them via ftp - use coppermine's admin menu options to remove or rename files, instead. Only in this way will these files be removed from both the file system and the database.

So, if that is "plainly wrong" what is correct then? *confused*

Anyway, I don't have problems with upload. I have a problem with files that have been uploaded and should be directed to an album.
I am sorry, maybe I did express it wrong or not good enough.

coppermine user interface is not the same thing as cpanel. You said you have been using cpanel. You mustn't. The docs say to use the coppermine interface.
Do as I suggested an re-read the upload troubleshooting section in the docs, especially the stuff highlighted in red. If you fail to do so, then we won't be able to help.
Also upgrade to the most recent version cpg1.4.4

With cpanel I meant the coppermine interface.
Sorry, my mistake.
The manual is no help but I managed to remove the files from the db via phpmyadmin.
Problem solved.
