I'm not a HTML or PHP expert, but I managed to customize the Giallo theme a little bit. I was very pleased with the result in Safari, but when I tried it in Internet Explorer on both Mac and PC, the tables were totally different. The Gallery table isn't outlined with the logo and the bottom of the page, and when I log in it gets worse. I tried several things, but none of them worked. Can somebody give me an advice what to do? I already tried to set the borders of every table on 1, but that didn't show the mystery...

My site is at www.vanamerongen.net/album/

Thanks in advance,

Wouter

this is not PHP-related, but should be done with HTML and CSS only. As I can't say how it's supposed to look like (I don't have a Mac), it's hard to say what's wrong. You could post screenshots of the version that looks OK for you and one that doesn't (put some red circle or other means of highlighting around the areas that you don't like).
Please note that theming isn't closely related to coppermine, but up to the individual user, so it's not the main target of this board to help users sort out theming issues...

OK Gaugau, let me try to explain. The Gallery table should be the same width as the logo on top of the page, which is 900px. This is how it should look, Safari shows it good:

This is how it looks on Internet Explorer on mac and pc when not logged in:

I don't know why it would change after login, but could this be an issue with IE's box model for CSS? You might look into the Tantek Celik hack.
"Then, Fletch," that bright creature said to him, and the voice was very kind, "let's begin with level flight . . . ."

hm, I don't believe in pixel-correct layouts yet - although many claim they can do it, I have my doubts (with current browsers, the idea itself is tempting!). Some browsers simply will need more space for the table to render and "take" the space they need. I'm still voting for working with blind gifs...
