Random-Pictures-Problem

Hi,

I have some trouble with the Random-Pictures.

I often get the message that "there are no images or that I don't have
permission to view the album", but when I press "F5" to reload everything
seems to be okay. I also had the problem vice-versa: I saw the random-
pictures, when I came to the site, but after I pressed "F5" I only received
the error-messsage and no actualizing helped.

I searched the docs and the forum and hope that I don't question
something that's been discussed too often...

your index page is way to heavy - maybe the "missing" random pics are simply caused by timeouts. Try reducing the detail level on your index page (coppermine config, look for "Number of levels of categories to display", "Show first level album thumbnails in categories", "The content of the main page").
